Background
Gakeem Publications began its journey as a printing company before evolving into a full-fledged children’s book publisher and marketing brand. Our publishing journey started with handwriting books, inspired by the founder, Mr. O.H. Abdulai, who identified a critical gap — the inability of many children to write legibly and the shortage of quality handwriting resources in the market.
Building on this need, we expanded into publishing educational books for children, including quantitative reasoning and verbal reasoning books designed to sharpen critical thinking. These books not only help pupils prepare for high school entrance exams but also lay a strong foundation for future success in job aptitude tests.
We also introduced unique learning materials in areas like coding basics, non-verbal reasoning, and spatial reasoning, helping children develop logic, problem-solving, and visual thinking skills. Our creative titles such as “Let’s Draw and Colour” stimulate imagination and encourage self-expression through drawing, colouring, and understanding shapes — essential skills for young minds to think independently and creatively.
